My name is teacher Lindie, I have been teaching English for 14 years and have taught online students and students in school. My students range from kids to adults. I am an experienced English Language tutor, TEFL certified, able to teach and mentor all age groups and levels. I pride myself in being professional and making you as a student feel happy and confident, you can feel assured that I am a tutor who knows how to plan suitable lessons with care and professionalism. I want to encourage and help you on your English learning journey. I will build your confidence and be patient with you however long it takes, it is important for me that my students feel comfortable and enjoy their lessons. I believe that British English is a traditional and well-known variety of the English language. It has a posh and alluring sound. Compared to American English, British English is more varied and richer. Some main differences between American and British English are spelling, word choice, and accent (the way words and letters are pronounced). The most important thing when learning English is to practice and implement the skills you learn. Most of all don’t be afraid to try, the only way you learn is by doing. Most important is to enjoy the journey of learning an amazing language.

The most exciting experience in my life was the day I faced my biggest fear, sharks. I decided to take a leap of faith and get over my fear of deep waters and the creatures that lurk there. I grew up close to the ocean and hardly participated in water sports due to my fear of sharks. On my 21st birthday I booked to go shark cage diving, on the day I was trembling and ran away twice. At the end I did it, I looked a big shark in the eye and faced my fear. I enjoy watersports more regularly after this experience.
