Hi, my name is Maritza, I am 31 years old, I have my Bachelor degree in Education and I have also completed my 120 Hour TEFL course. I’ve been happily teaching English language for 4 years. My background includes teaching kids and adults of all levels. In my class, I talk about a variety of topics, and my classes are always fun and respectful. Most importantly, I focus on my learners’ goals. Teaching is my passion, so there’s no better feeling in this world than seeing my students learn something from my class. I aim to have valuable resource for my students. I love to discuss many different topics, so if you’re someone who’s interested about music, cars, food, travel, books, movies, and sports—you’ll find my class quite interesting. Learning a new language is a rewarding experience. When we embark on a new language learning journey, we tend to be kind of optimistic about the target language. We set vague goals like “Be fluent in English”, “Be able to speak English like a native speaker” etc. The English language is one of the most commonly spoken languages in the world. These two English varieties (American and British) aren’t too different, but they are definitely not the same either. So why is British English the best? Firstly, the British version is a classic universally recognized version of the English language. The British version is richer and more diverse than American English. If you choose to study British English, you will form the most complete understanding of the grammar. That is why I love British language more than American English.
새로운 언어를 배우는 것은 보람 있는 경험입니다. 새로운 언어 학습 여정을 시작할 때 우리는 대상 언어에 대해 다소 낙관적인 경향이 있습니다. “영어를 유창하게 하라”, “원어민처럼 영어를 할 수 있다” 등 막연한 목표를 설정합니다. 영어는 세계에서 가장 많이 사용되는 언어 중 하나입니다. 이 두 가지 영어 품종(미국식과 영국식)은 크게 다르지는 않지만 확실히 같지는 않습니다. 그렇다면 왜 영국식 영어가 최고일까요? 첫째, 영국 버전은 보편적으로 인정되는 고전적인 영어 버전입니다. 영국식 영어는 미국식 영어보다 풍부하고 다양합니다. 영국식 영어를 공부하기로 선택했다면 문법에 대한 가장 완전한 이해를 형성하게 될 것입니다. 그래서 저는 미국식 영어보다 영국식 영어를 더 좋아합니다.
The most exciting experience is the stories I as teacher hear from my students! Whether it’s about the thing’s students say or do, the stories can certainly enrich any after-work conversation at home, and eventually the memoirs you might remember for years. Truly one of the best parts about teaching is also being able to learn all of the time.
가장 흥미로운 경험은 교사로서 학생들에게 듣는 이야기입니다! 학생들이 말한 것이든 행동한 것이든, 이야기는 집에서 퇴근 후 대화를 풍부하게 할 수 있으며 결국 몇 년 동안 기억할 수 있는 회고록을 풍부하게 할 수 있습니다. 가르칠 때 진정으로 가장 좋은 부분 중 하나는 항상 배울 수 있다는 것입니다.
