Hello Friends, my name is Chanté and I am here to help you on your British English adventure! I am so passionate about helping people. I am a registered Wellness Specialist Counsellor and have obtained a Degree in Health Science and Social Services as well as an Honours Degree in Psychology. I also have a 160 Hour TEFL Certificate with tons of experience teaching and working with people of all ages. In my spare time, I enjoy helping out in my community where I work as an assistant teacher in various NGOs. We do tons of fun activities to help each other learn and grow together. I am caring, and patient. In my classroom, you will experience learning in a fun and easy way! I believe that each pupil is unique and therefore, my lessons are created to suit each learner so that they can learn to the best of their ability.

British English is loads of fun! We get to learn fun traditional phrases like, “I’m chuffed to bits!” or “Fancy a cuppa?” We get to dive into the different spelling, pronunciations and many other differences between British and American English. The most important thing about learning the English language, however, is to remember to always do your best and not to be too hard on yourself. Learning English is fun! In my life, there is one thing I focus on, and that is making sure I can serve and help others. My passion for working with people has led me to many experiences that I am truly grateful for. One of them, in particular, is working with children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Many children are not able to experience an education due to external circumstances. Working with an organisation that made education possible for these children has been one of the most humbling experiences in my life. The part that excites me the most is to see each child progress into something truly special as they grow throughout their education career. Working with my students at Britmates, I can plant seeds of education in every one of them, water those seeds and watch them grow in their English journey.
제 인생에서 제가 집중하는 한 가지가 있는데 그것은 다른 사람을 섬기고 도울 수 있는지 확인하는 것입니다. 사람들과 함께 일하는 것에 대한 저의 열정은 저를 진정으로 감사하게 여기는 많은 경험으로 이끌었습니다. 특히 그 중 하나는 불우한 배경의 아이들과 함께 일하고 있습니다. 많은 아이들이 외부 환경으로 인해 교육을 경험하지 못하고 있습니다. 이 아이들을 위한 교육을 가능하게 한 조직과 함께 일하는 것은 제 인생에서 가장 겸허한 경험 중 하나였습니다. 저를 가장 흥분시키는 부분은 각 어린이가 교육 경력을 통해 성장함에 따라 진정으로 특별한 무언가로 발전하는 것을 보는 것입니다. Britmates에서 제 학생들과 함께 일하면서 저는 그들 모두에게 교육의 씨앗을 심고, 그 씨앗에 물을 주고, 영어 여행에서 자라는 것을 지켜볼 수 있습니다.
