My name is Teacher Kyle. I am an English teacher with over 4 years of English teaching experience. I am very passionate about teaching English! To date, I have taught over 10,000 classes with students of all ages and levels of English proficiency, and I have learned a LOT about Korean culture from my students. I come from an I.T background and also run an I.T business. I enjoy music, art, food, science, technology, nature, and wildlife, but I'm open to any topic of discussion. I believe in positive reinforcement and constructive criticism, and encourage my students to be enthusiastic and expressive of their ideas, opinions, and perspectives. Classes with me are laid-back and calm, but professional, and the focus of my classes is to improve my students' level of confidence and proficiency to that of a native English speaker. British English is essentially proper English. It is where the language originated from, and therefore, it is very diverse and "rich". What is so attractive about this, is that it allows us to "play" with the words, to "paint a picture" with the language, so to speak. The idioms, phrases, and wordplay really make writing come to life! In my opinion, when learning English, the most important thing to do is to accept that there will be mistakes and that mistakes are a part of the learning process - and really, just try to have fun with it! Always remember, there is no rush, and everyone learns at their own pace. When you allow yourself to have fun with learning and you feel comfortable, that's when your confidence grows and your progress shows!

I think that one of the most exciting experiences that I have had, is undoubtedly becoming a father. It is such an extraordinary blessing. Watching my son grow, teaching him new things, and experiencing everything what he does as he learns about the world around him is one of the greatest gifts I could ever imagine.
