Hi! My name is Rob and I am an English Teacher from the UK with over 11 years of experience, both in the classroom and online. Throughout my career I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of learners from beginners all the way through to adults and this experience has helped me to acquire a wide range of skills, to help my students through any situation. My aim in class is to create a comfortable and fun learning environment so there is no need to be nervous or worried about making mistakes. I look forward to meeting you!

British English in my opinion is so much more distinct and defined than the English spoken in other native speaking countries. Despite being a relatively small country, the UK is full of distinct accents and styles of speaking with each city, region or province having it own unique sound. This means when you study with a British teacher, not only will you hear a clear and distinct sound, but you will also be able to pick up various nuances and interesting expressions that you wouldn’t hear elsewhere.
영국 영어는 제 의견으로는 다른 모국어 화자 국가에서 쓰이는 영어보다 훨씬 명확하고 정의된 언어로 인식됩니다. 상대적으로 작은 국가임에도 불구하고, 영국은 독특한 강세와 언어 스타일로 가득 차 있으며, 각 도시, 지역 또는 지방마다 고유한 발음이 있습니다. 이는 영국 교사와 함께 공부할 때 명확하고 독특한 소리뿐만 아니라 다양한 뉘앙스와 흥미로운 표현도 얻을 수 있다는 것을 의미합니다. 다른 곳에서 듣지 못할 표현들을 살펴볼 수 있습니다.
One of the best periods of my life was when I lived in South Korea for four years between 2012 and 2016. Having spent my first year out in Gangwondo, living a very peaceful life in the mountains of Jeongseon, I later moved to Seoul and was lucky enough to live just 5 minutes away from the Han River. One of my favorite things to do during this time ,was go for long relaxing walks along the river, especially in the evening time as the sun was setting. The city looked very beautiful. These are great memories that I will never forget!
제 인생 중 가장 훌륭한 시기 중 하나는 2012년부터 2016년까지 4년 동안 대한민국에서 생활한 때였습니다. 첫 해를 강원도에서 보내면서, 정선의 산속에서 평온한 삶을 살았고, 이후에는 서울로 이사를 가게 되었는데, 다행히도 한강에서 단 5분 거리에서 생활할 수 있었습니다. 이 기간 동안 가장 즐겨했던 일 중 하나는 강가를 따라 길게 산책하는 것이었습니다. 특히 해가 지는 저녁 시간에는 그 경치가 아름답게 보였습니다. 도시가 정말 아름다웠죠. 이런 훌륭한 추억들은 평생 잊지 못할 것입니다.
